Ph.D programme: Graduate School of International Development Studies

Since September 1990, The Graduate School provides an organisational framework for PhD projects dealing with subjects within the overall theme of development studies and creates a common forum of discussion for an international group of PhD students from Denmark and abroad. 

The Graduate School is managed by a Steering Committee with the Director as chairperson. The Head of Department, Gorm Rye Olsen, has the overall management and financial responsibility. The daily management is delegated to the Director, Professor, Christian Lund. Other members of the Steering Committee: the Study Director, International Development Studies, Professor Laurids Lauridsen; Associate Professor Lisa Ann Richey; Associate professor Peter Oksen and two to tree Ph.D. students.
